Duncan has been living in Northern Ireland since 1964. She uses evocative, contrasting colours in her paintings and etchings. They explore interpretaions of natural phenomena, from delicate leaves in autumn to dusty deserts in Morrocco. A founder-member of the Octagon Gallery, Belfast and the co-founder and director of Seacourt Print Workshop, Bangor, Co. Down, she was elected a member of the Ulster Society of Painters in Watercolour in 1987. She has held four residencies at Tyrone Guthrie Centre, Annaghmakerrig and was elected a member of the RUA in 1994. File contains news paper clippings and images of artist's work.
