Piercy approaches her printmaking in a painterly style. She creates highly narrative works that explore her interest in myth and religion. Occasionally her works incorporate text. She is influenced by early Renaissance artists such as Giotto. Piercy has won several prestigious awards throughout her career. They include the National Portrait Exhibition Award in 1986, Four Awards at the Royal College of Art, London, MA Degree Show in 1995 and the Prize-Winner of the International Mini-Print Exhibition, Dublin in 1989. She has exhibited extensively internationally and is represented in numerous public and private collections. File contains newspaper clippings, press releases and a catalogue with images of the artist's work.
