Notes
Wynne-Jones created animated energetic landscape paintings that draw inspiration from the landscape of Africa and the West Coast of Ireland. Her colourful imagery blends representation with abstraction. Wynne-Jones lived and painted under the guidance of Peter Lanyon in St. Ives, Cornwall from 1957-1962. She married sculptor Conor Fallon, brother of art critic Brian Fallon in 1965 and moved to Ireland in 1972. She exhibited extensively in group and solo shows. She was elected an honorary member of the RHA in 1994 and Aosdána in 1996. File contains newspaper clippings, press releases, catalogues and images of the artist's work.
