NIVAL Reading Room Access

Access to NIVAL is by appointment only. Researchers may visit the library by appointment on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10am - 5pm.

Readers should bring their own pens, laptops, etc.

To request an appointment, email: nivalinfo(at)staff.ncad.ie with the following information:

• Preferred date and time for your visit
• The subject of your research
• Whether you require guidance or consultation on using the collection
• Which material you wish to consult (if you know)

NIVAL maintains a policy of maximum accessibility to the collections, consistent with social distancing measures, the preservation of material and the practical and legal limitations on our resources. Access to the collection is free and without membership. Material is reference only. NIVAL staff are available for assistance and advice on how best to use the resource. The premises are fully wheelchair accessible.
