A large hardback book with a grey cover of paper and bookcloth. The book contains black and white linocut illustrations and letterpress text extracts from the Minutes of the Peripatetics, a gentlemen's club in Dublin that meets to discuss literature, the events of the day, play cards and sample refreshments. There is also a booklet bound into the centre page that contains images of some ephemera relating to the club, including scans of minute books, correspondence and reports.

"This book attempts to capture that essence, with a selection of 14 extracts, faithfully reproduced as written, dating from their first meeting in 1887, to the current year of 2014."
