As a supplement to the Artists and Galleries Files, NIVAL maintains an extensive collection of documentation on all variety of Subject Areas related to art and design.  Examples of Subject Areas include Arts Funding, Arts Organisations, Auctions, Collections, Community Art, Irish Art Abroad, International Art, Public Art, and Sculpture.  

In addition, information on all aspects of Irish design, including areas such as Fashion, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Ceramics, Furniture, Glass and Metals.
